Description: Grand View Hospital is at the momment seeking for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Full Time, M, T & W: 9am-9pm right now, this occupation will be settled in Pennsylvania. Assists the Paramedic in the delivery of patient care to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in accordance with the EMS Act of 1985 and local protocols, including pre-hospital Advanced Life Support and Emergency Department Advanced Life Support.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be currently certified as, or be eligible, for PA EMT, BCLS, PHTLS, EVOC certification.
Prefer two years related EMS experience in a pre-hospital environment.
Be familiar with the protocols of Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Valid driver's license.
Considerable lifting and moving of patients required (lift/carry minimum of 150 lbs. However, may be required to lift/carry patients in excess of 300 lbs. with assistance).
