Sodexo is seeking a Food General Manager for a 180 bed acute care Children's Hospital located in Philadelphia, Pa. In this lead role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food operations for their full-service Cafe, Catering and Patient Meal services. Responsibilities will include: working with unit financials, HR functions, strategic planning, cash management/control, training, supervision of an hourly and management staff and direct client and customer interaction.
The successful candidate will have at least 3-4 years lead food management experience, a strong financial acumen, the ability to lead and develop a management staff as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. Prior food management experience in health-care at a pediatric facility would be a plus.

Position Summary:
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree Basic Management Experience - 3 years Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
