Description: Penn State Hershey Medical Center is in need of Medical Assistant, Pediatrics, Part Time, Days / Eves (CMA, RMA, Peds) right now, this vacancy will be reside in Pennsylvania. Responsible for providing assistance with various healthcare services, including, but not li! mited to, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory studies of specimens, and assisting with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow, scheduling patient visits, and taking phone messages.
High school diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
Basic Life Support Certification required or must obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of employment.
Able to sit, stand and walk for 8 hours per day.
Able to lift 0-25 lbs frequently and 26-100 lbs occasionally.
Able to carry 0-10 lbs frequently and 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to bend, squat and reach frequently.
Able to use hands for simple and firm grasping, firm manipulation and pushing/pulling.
Able to use foot for control, repeat movement and use of leg.
Associate's degree.
Outpatient experience.
Certified or registered Medical Assistant.
