POSITION SUMMARY
In accordance with the standards of care established by the State Board of Nursing, a registered nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
A registered nurse also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted PA license or license-eligible.
Current BLS Healthcare provider.
PRNs must have PALS and Trauma Nurse course at date of hire.
Experience:
Pediatric experience required.
PRN's must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
Specific Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language to effectively communicate with predominantly English-speaking population.
