Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks eighth pediatric hospitalist to join an employed group. This is ! an outstanding opportunity for a new graduate or experienced pediatric hospitalist to work with a friendly and collegial group at a growing organization. Successful candidate will enjoy a broad scope of practice and participate in teaching medical students and residents while working in a state-of-the-art facility. LVHN has 17 residency and fellowship programs, and in 2012 we will be accepting our first group of pediatric residents. Opportunity for academic appointment and clinical research is available. LVHN is a 988-bed hospital with a Level I trauma center with additional qualification in burn, and a dedicated 12-bed Pediatric ER. LVHN has a 30-bed general pediatric unit, 8-bed Level II PICU and 40-bed Level III NICU. Pediatric subspecialty services are available in adolescent medicine, anesthesiology, cardiology, endocrinology, hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopaedics, radiology, general surgery and more. For the 17th year in a row LVHN has been li! sted as one of the nation’s best hospitals in U.S. News and ! World Report! LVHN is located in a beautiful area known as the Lehigh Valley, which is 60 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of NYC.
