CHOP is currently hiring a Home Care Respiratory Therapist II (RT 2! ), who will practice at the level of a competent-to-proficient practitioner of respiratory care. This role is responsible for administering respiratory care modalities, performing routine care and teaching patients/families independence in their therapy. .
In this role, you will base practice on physician orders, established policies and procedures in the American Association of Respiratory Care Clinical Practices Guidelines. Candidate must hold a valid license to practice respiratory care in Pennsylvania and a certificate of completion in respiratory care from a JRCRTE Approved Respiratory Care Program. Submission of application for NJ Respiratory License and CPR Certification required upon completion of initial orientation period. Prior pediatric, acute, subacute or home care experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, verbal/communication skills and clinical judgment skills are required.
