Job Summary:
Administers general and regional anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic! procedures.
In-house call.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the current principles and practices of Anesthesiology to ensure safe conditions and care of sedated and anesthetized patients. Knowledge of anesthetic agents and procedures to deliver quality patient care. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments utilized in anesthetic procedures. Establish a safe work environment. Able to maintain quality control standards. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to privd4e care based on age based criteria of the patients served in their service area.
Qualifications
:
Training & Education:
Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia School. Certified or eligible for Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania
Experience:
Must have graduated from an Accredited Nurse Anesthetist School.
Supervisory! Responsibility:
Supervises SRNAs, Residents and Fello! ws. Assists with supervision of anesthesia technicians.
Required Licenses
:
RN license in the State of Pennsylvania. Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Satisfy requirements of continuing education as determined by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
