Pocono Medical Center is seeking a Board-certified/Board-eligible pediatrician to join its hospital-owned practice. Located in the beautiful, scenic Pocono Mountains, PMC is just 75 miles from Manhattan and 90 minutes from Philadelphia. Currently, PMC is transitioning from a community hospital to a regional medical center. The hospital recently completed a $54 million expansion that includes a new Emergency Department, servicing more than 80,000 patients each year; 10 new surgical suites; a 24-bed ICU/CVU; two cardiac catheterization labs; and the ESSA Heart and Vascular Institute. The hospital will continue to grow over the next several years in areas including Oncology, Women's and Children's Services, Surgery, and Primary Care.
