Job Description:
The Clinical Coordinator of the International Patient Program is a member of the International Patient Program team and works closely with the Clinical Manager. The Coordinator collaborates regularly with the physicians, clinicians and administrators from multiple Divisions and Departments at CHOP while serving international patients. The Clinician Coordinator provides case coordination and management support to the International Medicine staff for ongoing care of international patients. The Clinical Coordinator also works with international clients, families, patients and their representatives as directed by the Clinical Manager.

In this role, the Clinical Coordinator provides support to the ongoing operational and monitoring activities of the International Patient Program which is responsible for facilitating the delivery of excellent and timely pediatric health services for international patients and families. The Clinical Coordinator is integrated into patient services by offering clinical summaries of medical records and coordination of consulting services during clinical case reviews and evaluation requests from international families. The Coordinator ensures efficiency in the operational process.

The Clinical Coordinator also provides some case management services as necessary and directed in support of complex international patients who require ongoing review and coordination of services, case summaries, coordination of DME, outpatient pharmacy services, financial summaries, etc. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for generating reports regarding individual cases and collaborating with other departments or agencies as directed by the Clinical Manager.
