Job Summary:
The individual in this role will be responsible for the provision of effective and ef! ficient financial analysis, revenue cycle, proformas, scorecards and forecasts for the St. Christopher's Hospital for Children - Pediatric Associates (SCPA) and related non-hospital entities. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders for the development of volume forecasts, physician staffing, business analysis and reviews, and performance reports to support business decisions.
This is an operations financial management position with the primary goal of serving SCPA through the provision of revenue cycle, financial and business support as well as technical support to clinical departments for matters associated with budgets, targets, revenue recognition, and compliance with SOX, audit guidelines, controls, Tenet policies, procedures and guidelines. Advice/guidance for decision-making must fit with overall strategic goals and support financial and operational management projections, reporting, budgetary controls, planning, and analysis as well as impro! vement initiatives. This position is not responsible for the g! eneral ledger and month end closing, but is involved in analytics to support financials and action plans necessary for the organization's success.
Skills & Abilities:
Must have strong analytical skills, ability to obtain, interpret, and analyze data from various Tenet systems, including NextGen. This information will be used to develop recommendations to improve operating results, streamline processes, and execute initiatives. Ability to work with various levels of management and employees is critical. The successful candidate will perform well in a team environment and will build partnerships with key players. Functions in high-volume, fast-paced environment. Also, functions independently with little supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong focus on customer service. Knowledge of basic human resources management. Demonstrated reliability, accountability, initiative and creativity. Excellent written and oral skills. High proficiency and famili! arity with mainstream applications is required to include: Excel, Access, and Word. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
Qualifications
Training & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
5 years experience in both finance and operational settings, preferably in a complex academic physician group. Professional billing and revenue cycle experience required. Sponsored programs experience a plus.

Required Licenses :
CPA license is preferred.
