Demonstrates competence in knowle! dge and skills necessary to assist the teacher with the preparation of materials and lessons for daily activities involving pediatrics. Supervises aides and volunteers in consultation with the manager. Incumbent would be responsible for record-keeping, adhering to all safety regulations, and communication with parents and staff.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent with additional credits in early childhood education, child development, special education or the human services field.
2 years work experience related to the care and development of children preferred.
Keeping the room clean, safe and interesting for the children.
The job may require prolonged standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting (up to 75 lbs).
