Responsible for performing PFTs as well as all respiratory therapies, educating patients! and families with respiratory disorders, especially cystic fibrosis, asthma and all current pulmonary modalities.
Associate's degree from an approved 2-year program in respiratory care or equivalent knowledge plus 1-2 years experience necessary and passage of RRT exam.
PA licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Experience in asthma education and knowledge of cystic fibrosis, especially airway clearance and emergency room experience.
Ambulatory and inpatient pediatric experience.
BLS and PALS certifications.
