POSITION SUMMARY:
A clinically competent, Professional! Registered Nurse with Critical Care training who delivers nursing care to the acutely ill medical and surgical patients requiring specialized nursing care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Possesses the ability to interact with the Hospital and Community population in accordance with the individual's age group and level of growth and development. Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team members and ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Performs other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Functions in the Charge Nurse position when delegated, and assumes the responsibility for the assignment of and supervision of all Nursing Staff members on his/her unit for the direct and indirect provision of nursing care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A.
Graduate fro! m an accredited School of Nursing.
B. Currently licen! sed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
C. Critical Care Training, and/or experience is preferred.
D. Minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing, preferred.
E.
Current BLS and ACLS preferred.

, Bloomsburg, Pa., licensed for 72 beds, is an acute care hospital offering patients a variety of primary and specialty care services, a broad spectrum of surgical services, including in-and out-surgery, obstetrics/maternity, behavioral health and a progressive emergency medicine and hospitalist program.
