Responsible for accepting incoming referral information via multimedia and working direct! ly with bed management and direct care nursing to coordinate inpatient bed assignments (particularly critical ill) for patients. Coordinates, prioritizes and optimizes patient flow using knowledge of clinical and operational activities throughout hospital network.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing.
3 years critical care nursing experience.
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners.
Strong critical thinking, accurate assessment and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Attentiveness to detail high-level analytical ability to resolve complex patient flow issues.
Interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in nursing concepts, practices and procedures.
5 years critical care nursing experience.
