Specialist to join the Behavioral Health team as a clinical specialist in the
area of mental health. The CNS is a leader and clinical expert on patient care
issues as well as an educator and mentor who promotes an environment of
continuous learning by developing and delivering educational programs for staff
development. The CNS uses their skills,
experience and special training in pediatric Behavioral Health to ensure
patients and their families receive the best treatment and care available to
them. They are responsible for the direct
care and follow-up of outpatients as they perform and document daily assessments,
collect and analyze data and formulate family-centered plans of care. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness
of the prescribed treatment plans, they modify the plans of care based on patient
and family responses to treatment. The
CNS is an educational resource to patients, families and the provider tea! m.

Qualifications:
MasterÂ's degree from an NLNAC-CCNE accredited graduate school of nursing in a pediatric clinical nurse specialist program, required; RN license in Pennsylvania, required; CNS certification in pediatric or family behavioral health, required; Certificate of Prescriptive Au! thority in Pennsylvania (upon hire), required; ability to work effectively in a team setting with multiple responsibilities, required; proficient in Microsoft Office, required.
