As a business analysis manager on the Global Reporting team, you will contribute to Starbucks success by partnering with business unit finance teams to drive monthly and quarterly reporting packages for a very senior audience, including the board and executive leadership team. You will also be responsible for driving and improving our consolidated operating margin analyses. Global Reporting is looking for a partner who can help drive change and efficiencies and deliver next-level reporting. To accomplish this, the ideal candidate will have strong story-telling abilities, cross functional collaboration, and ability to influence peers and leaders. You will also perform first level review responsibilities and help mentor junior members of the team.
As a business analysis manager in Global Reporting, you will…
- Develops innovative approaches to complex problems and situations. Conducts research including external benchmarking and utilizes statistical tools and scenario analysis to guide sound financial business decisions.
- Provide coaching, direction, and leadership to team members in order to achieve business results.
- Works with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure results, and improve processes. Consults with senior management to present data, propose solutions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and business planning 7 years
- Applicable industry experience 5 years
- Contributing to and leading cross functional teams 5 years
- Making recommendations to and influencing decision makers 5 years
- Project management experience
