This position may be eligible for an alternate remote work location, such as from home, at least part of the year.
This position will assist in the testing and evaluating new equipment, maintenance, and enhancement of technology inside the patrol vehicle, select technology that supports enforcement members, and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems. This position will assist maintenance and upgrades to all technology in the patrol vehicle including Body Worn Camera (BWC) recording systems, tracking, and troubleshooting in-car connectivity technology, and deployment and training associated with the department’s BWC systems. This may include the tracking and management of software licenses and hardware, working with users or vendors to troubleshoot issues, programming and testing hardware, updating software, and creating and updating training manuals.

One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Education-
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience-
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or
paraprofessional classification.
OR
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
OR
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
- Paraprofessional classifications are those requiring an associate’s degree or two years of college.
Educational Substitution-
College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
