Seeking a skilled and talented Psychiatric adminstrative staff to join the team. Carative Psychiatry is a new telepsychiatry mental health organization with broad-based ambitions. We see patients throughout the United States. This office will be aimed at addressing the growing mental health needs of the community. Carative Psychiatry was founded to provide outpatient psychiatry to all age ranges. The goal at Carative is to provide quality health care for patients seeking trustworthy long-term psychiatric care.
About the Role
Duties will include the daily administrative operations of the clinic, implementing procedures to optimize patient care and managing the budget. To be successful in this role, candidate should exhibit administrative abilities and meticulous organizational skills with stellar customer service, be able to problem solve efficiently, work independently, and show initiative towards tasks, which would ultimately translate to excellent patient care. All applicants must be motivated to work hard alongside other staff, possess superior communication skills and be highly organized. Computer knowledge and office experience required. An essential part of this job includes the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients, helping them complete their paperwork, collecting co-pays if not already done and scheduling new and follow up ppointments. Patient care is our top priority!
- Following daily protocol and staying in constant contact with other staff and management.
- Aiding and assisting psychiatric providers as well as other support staff when necessary.
- Designing and implementing business strategies to help the clinic meet organizational goals.
- Acting as a liaison between patients, their families and additional care staff.
- Keeping medical professionals informed about healthcare administered at the clinic.
- Ordering stock and supplies for the clinic.
- Developing procedures to deliver optimal patient care.
- Managing internal and external communications, and answering queries about the clinic.
- Answering phone calls and emails and addressing patient inquiries.
- Familiarity with billing and coding a significant plus, and liaising with billing staff to maximize potential earnings.
- Open and process mail.

- Proven work experience as a psychiatric office administrator and medical experience a necessity
- Knowledge of accounting and administrative processes and principles.

- Ability to identify needs and have the initiative to develop protocols to address those gaps
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or higher preferred.
- 2+ years of position-related experience in an administrative capacity.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with IntakeQ EMR, Spruce communications, and other telehealth experience desired
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
- 2+ years of proven success in leadership roles is required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Offering an hourly position working Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays where hours range from 1 pm PST to 6 pm PST or 4 pm EST to 9 pm EST with a growing psychiatric company with the potential to earn more as the company expands
