The CRNP will be functioning as a part of the Palliative care team, is directly responsible to the Palliative Care Manager, and will rec! eive clinical guidance from the Palliative Care Medical Director. Will provide a full range of healthcare services, including planning, organizing, coordinating and directing optimal patient care and outcome to assure quality patient care to the pediatric, adult and geriatric patient that meets regulatory requirements. Candidate will monitor patient response to palliative plan and adjust plan accordingly. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
Experience in symptom and pain management required. Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania and possess a Controlled Substance license in PA. A minimum of 2 years of RN or NP experience in a home care setting preferred. Current PA driver's license and automobile insurance required. Daily working conditions may involve sustained physical effort such as lifting up to 25 lbs or moving up to 150 lbs such as in moving patients. Computer eye strain is possible. Stress due ! to time pressures. Travel within hospital service area is requ! ired, at times during inclement weather.
