To assist with the flow of patients in and out of the clinic area. This position requires providing service to the follo! wing age population(s) pediatrics, teen, adult, older adult in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Experience:
- ADULT & PEDS EXPERIENCE
- Be able to give injections, draw blood, EKGs, vitals, lab & have great written and verbal communication
- AT LEAST 2 years of RECENT experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Medical Assistant training required.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Minimum of one to two years related experience required or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demand Analysis:
Physical Requirements
Sitting, Standing, Walking, Dexterity (handling, fingering, reaching)
Occasionally (0-33% of the time.) - Heavy (lifting up to 100-lbs maximum, frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.)
Visual Requirements
Extensive Expos! ure to VDTs (Video Display Terminal)
Hearing Requirements !
Ability to hear normal conversations
