Physical Therapist - Home Health - (PT - HH)

StartDate: 10/21/2013 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay! Rate: 47.50 *

Home healthcare company is seeking a self starting, highly motivated Physical Therapist to join the team. Therapist will treat an Adult and Geriatric population seeing approximately 5-6 patients per day. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:

• Interested candidates must have 1 year of experience (if applicable)
• Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT and/or registered as a Physical Therapist per state requirements.

A physical therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages who suffer from physical conditions that limit the ability to move and/or perform daily functional activities. A PT has a number of job functions, including assessing the patient and creating an individualized treatment plan to work on the areas that could use improvement. In assisting w! ith a patient’s physical therapy, a PT also incorporates pre! ventative measures against the loss of motor skills and promotes overall healthier lifestyles. The settings worked in include:

Acute

Home health

Long-term care

Outpatient

Pediatric

Psychiatric

Rehabilitation

School

Sports medicine

Required Qualifications

• PA license
• 1 years of post-clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent Homecare Experience
