TERTIARY CARE REFERRAL CENTER! TEACHING OPTIONS AVAILABLE!
Job Details: Staff: 4.5 Physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 RNs, 4 LPNs and 5 MOAs Work schedule: Monday and Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday hours are extended u! ntil 7pm (providers rotate) Saturday hours from 8:00am - 12:00! pm (Providers rotate) Typical work day: 1 Pediatrician takes walk-ins from 8:00am - 11:00am 1 Pediatrician conducts rounds in the Nursery beginning at 8:00am and then returns the office to help with walk-ins. Pediatrician sees scheduled patients. Average of 20-25 patients per day. Average of 700 births per year Age range of newborn to 18 years old Access to research Resident teaching: Family Medicine Residents, NP and NP students as well as medical students rotate. Call is currently 1:5. NP shares call. MD takes 2nd call for the Nursery Day off after weekend call. Very ill babies are transferred.
