ProNet Group, Inc. is a Texas based, forensic engineering consulting firm that was established in 1990. We are an industry leader in conducting technical investigations to determine the root cause of accidents and failures.
We are currently seeking a certified Fire Investigator to conduct forensic fire/explosion origin and cause investigations of commercial and residential buildings, vehicles, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, commercial trucking, marine vessels, and wildfires. Experience working with clients in the P&C insurance and legal industries is beneficial.
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exemplary investigative skills and expertise, and must be familiar with NFPA 921 and 1033. Preferred candidates will have expert witness testimony experience and a proven track record in conducting fire origin and cause investigations.
Responsibilities:

- Determine the origin and cause of fires and explosions.
- Conduct field investigations to document onsite conditions.
- Prepare and provide verbal and written reports.
- Provide expert witness testimony.
- 50/50 field work and office duties.
Qualifications:
- Certified Fire Investigator (IAAI-CFI)
- Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (NAFI-CFEI)
- Private Investigator (PI) license, or ability to obtain it
- Familiar with NFPA 921 and 1033
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in performing O&C investigations

Pay: $70,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
