Job Summary:
Administers general and regional anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
In-house call.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the current principles a! nd practices of Anesthesiology to ensure safe conditions and care of sedated and anesthetized patients. Knowledge of anesthetic agents and procedures to deliver quality patient care. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments utilized in anesthetic procedures. Establish a safe work environment. Able to maintain quality control standards. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to privd4e care based on age based criteria of the patients served in their service area.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia School.
Certified or eligible for Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse
American Heart Association CPR/BLS
