This leading academic childrenÂ's hospital in the eastern United States has a great! opportunity for an acute care certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in their Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This recently created specialized team is solely devoted to caring for infants from around the world who need surgical intervention. As the PNP in the Surgical NICU, you will be a member of the team that provides seamless care to infants with birth defects such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, lung lesion, omphalocele and gastroschis is as well as fetal surgery patients. You will be involved in patient care, education, consultation and research with exposure to a high volume of complex surgical neonates and fetal surgery patients in this large Level III NICU.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master\'s degree in Nursing, through either a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Acute Chronic Nurse Practitioner program, required; National Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatric NICU nursing, required;licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in Pennsylvania, required; licensed to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania, required; clinical experience in a Level III NICU, required; minimum of! 2 years of neonatal nursing experience, required.
