Description: St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network is in need of LPN right now, this vacancy will be situated in Pennsylvania. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to pediatric patients in a busy multi-physician pediatric primary care practice. Responsibilities include patient teaching, administering medications and immunizations! , obtaining vital signs, height, weight, BMI, and performing office level diagnostic testing. Must be willing to travel to KidsCare sites in Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.
Job Qualifications:
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sit up to 2 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. Stand up to 12 hours per day; 8 hours at a time. Walk 10 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time. Consistently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift, carry, push objects up to 75lbs. Must have ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation and seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, color vision and peripheral vision. Must be able to transport patients weighing up to 250 lbs via wheelchair or stretcher.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of licensed practical nursing program. Current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
One year medical/surgical experience preferred. Previou! s medical office and/or pediatric experience preferred. Indivi! dualized orientation program.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Day or middle shift with varying hours based on the needs of the department.
