Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)!
We are seeking a COTA who is highly motivated and

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants are 13 week
assignments. Most traveling healthcare workers not

If you are a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
(COTA who wants to make an immediate impact in your job.
Perm, PRN or Contract. Possibly exploring opportunities in
a variety of settings and locations.
Responsibilities:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is
responsible for performing occupational therapy programs
and treatments as directed by the occupational therapist
for inpatient and outpatient pediatric, adolescent, adult
and geriatric populations. Pr! ovides employee and patient
educational programs as direct! ed. The duties of this
position require patient and family education and the
exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and
assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others
in order to provide quality customer service.
Providing skilled occupational therapy
services/interventions in accordance with Physician
orders
Assessing patient needs, planning for, evaluating, and
modifying care to meet goals of the OT Interventions
Collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate
team goals for each patient
Instructing patient/family on patient's total
occupational therapy program (s)
Advising, consulting, and instructing members of the
mufti-disciplinary team in specific occupational therapy
modalities
Observing and reporting patient progress and/or changes
in patient status to Physician and appropriate
mufti-disciplinary team members
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
AOTA certification.
Technical training in the use of occupational therapy
equipment used in the inpatient and outpatient
settings.
Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
(CPR) for all age groups.
