Pediatria HealthCare for Kids provides Pediatric Day Health Services (PDH), to medica! lly fragile children in the Wilkes Barre area. To meet the demands of program growth, we have an immediate opening for nursing assistants.
This position works with our nursing staff in providing hands-on care to the pediatric patient's enrolled in our program. Additionally, the position may occasionally be responsible for the transportation of the children from their homes to our facility. Therefore, an exceptional driving record is required and prior emergency or non-emergency medical transport experience is highly desired.
Candidates must have prior pediatric nursing assistant or daycare experience; provide an acceptable current MVR report, and a favorable criminal report as mandated by state requirements. CPR and 1st Aid training are conditions of employment and all applicants must submit to pre-employment and random drug screening.
This position has a flexible schedule offering No NIGHTS-WEEKENDS-HOLIDAYS! The Wilkes Barre day health center is! open from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm Monday - Friday. Additionally, em! ployees are eligible to participate in a group health plan which includes medical, dental, disability, and life insurance.
