 Role Description 
This position is for the BAI lead supporting the Prevenar 13 global commercial development franchise, including both the pediatric and adult indication teams. The individual in this role will collaborate with business partners to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to market preparation, commercial development and valuation of business opportunities. Using the tools of primary research and secondary data analyses this person will be looked upon to provide objective, in-depth analyses of the marketplace, an understanding of key customers and competitors, and recommendations based customer insights.!    Domestic and global travel may be required from time to time !   in this role. 
 Responsibilities 
- For both the Global Prevenar 13 Pediatric and Adult teams, lead the identification of information needs, development of research and analytic plans, management of the research process, and communication of actionable insights
 - Evaluate brand strategies and lifecycle opportunities
 - Communicate research and analysis insights across relevant forums (Prevenar 13 ped and adult commercial teams, Prevenar 13 franchise asset team, Vaccines and SCBU leadership, etc)
 - Provide analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning, ensuring a thorough understanding of the pneumococcal vaccine market, key customers, and current and future competitors
 - Identify key metrics to track market performance and evaluate market opportunities based on an understanding of competitive market dynamics
 - Collaborate cross functionally in the development of asset-level analyses and fore! casts
 - Align and leverage disease area learning and insights across geographies (US, EU, Japan and emerging markets)
 - Contribute to sharing of best practices and continuous improvement across the BAI CD/BD/SAI team and the broader Business Analytics & Insights community.
 
- Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues and to frame business questions
 - Ability to evaluate information needs and business objectives in the process of developing comprehensive âfit for purposeâ research plans
 - Experience applying a wide range of primary and secondary market research methods and managing complex market research projects and analyses
 - Experience using and applying a range of secondary data sources including physician audits, IMS data, patient longitudinal data and other specialized datasets
 - Strong analytic skills, with ability t! o translate data and information into actionable insights.
 - Per! suasive and credible communication skills; ability to obtain input from regional and cross-functional colleagues and work effectively with colleagues in other BAI functions
 - Comfort with ambiguity and flexible to changing business dynamics
 - Understanding of the U.S. and global pharmaceutical businesses
 - B.A. required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
