Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/01/2013Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Hospital in a city with a historic downtown and old world charm is currently seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for their Emergency Department. The Emergency Medicine physician will work in a 17 bed ED which sees approximately 22,000 visits annually. Responsibilities include stabilizing, evaluating and diagnosing patients in the main Emergency Room.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
